Nikolaos Athanasakos Founder & CEO – ICMS LLC Strategic Builder | Industry Innovator | Fifth-Generation Craftsman Nikolaos “Nik” Athanasakos is more than a builder—he's a visionary leader reshaping how construction and custom fabrication are delivered across industries. As Founder and CEO of ICMS LLC, Nik brings a unique fusion of legacy craftsmanship, strategic execution, and entrepreneurial foresight to every project and partnership. A fifth-generation craftsman, Nik’s roots are deep in heritage construction. Raised in Greece and originally from South Africa, he honed his skills working on historical wood structures—including forts, museums, and culturally significant architectural landmarks—where precision and legacy mattered just as much as the final product. Before launching ICMS LLC, Nik held senior leadership roles at several top-tier fabrication and construction firms, driving operational excellence across production, installation, and quality management. His hands-on experience—from shop floor to boardroom—gives him unmatched insight into optimizing workflows, improving client outcomes, and bridging the gap between design intent and final execution. Nik holds a degree in Architectural Design and Interior Decoration from AKTO Art & Design and leverages this foundation to lead with both creativity and clarity. Through ICMS LLC, he partners with developers, GCs, and visionaries to bring bold ideas to life with a blend of strategic consulting, value engineering, and execution-ready solutions. Beyond the professional accolades, Nik is a dedicated problem solver, lifelong learner, and family man. He’s passionate about transforming challenges into opportunities—whether that’s streamlining an over-complicated fabrication process or recreating a family recipe from scratch on a Sunday afternoon. When he’s not elevating projects, you’ll find him hiking (even if it's just Florida’s version of a hill), rebuilding things just to improve them, or spending time with the ones who matter most—his family.
